
Pete Stewart has more than 19 years of leadership experience in the hi-tech industry, where he has held a variety of executive positions spanning sales, business management and strategy with leading companies such as McAfee (NYSE:MFE), Micrografx (Nasdaq: MGXI) and Fifth Generation Systems (Nasdaq: SYMC). Stewart has been President and CEO of TraceSecurity since 2004. Under his leadership, TraceSecurity’s revenue has increased an average of 153% each year and its customer base has grown to over 800 worldwide. Additionally, during Stewart’s tenure, TraceSecurity has closed both Series A, B and C investments with investors who maintain more than $3 billion in assets, and the company has been first to market with several Saas-based risk and compliance management solutions targeting the middle market.
Pete holds a Bachelors Degree from Louisiana State University and was recently named as a finalist for Best Executive in the American Business Awards. Previously, Pete served as a member of the Louisiana National Guard 239th Military Police Unit.
As CTO and Vice President of Strategy & Solutions for TraceSecurity, Jim Stickley has been instrumental in directing the TraceSecurity strategy. Jim is responsible for developing and releasing multiple versions of the software used by hundreds of clients today. Jim is in charge of the guiding principles and structure of all TraceSecurity solutions including products and services. Jim has over ten years experience in the hi-technology industry.
Jim is one of the original founders of TraceSecurity as TraceSecurity was formed from the merger of his and Guba's company, PatchPortal, and Blaze Technologies. Prior to PatchPortal, Jim worked in management roles at Blaze Technologies and other security companies.
Additionally, Jim is a renowned security expert. He has been involved in thousands of security services for financial institutions, Fortune 100 corporations, healthcare facilities, legal firms, and insurance companies. He has been a consultant for 20/20, Network Associates, numerous magazines and newspapers and was featured in Time Magazine, Business Week, Fortune Magazine, New York Times and other industry specific publications such as PC Magazine and Security Focus. He has also been showcased on NBC's "Nightly News", CNN's "NewsNight", CNBC’s “The Big Idea” and numerous times on NBC's "Today Show".
Furthermore, he serves as a speaker at numerous security-related tradeshows, conventions, seminars and forums throughout the US, covering topics that range from basic network security to national cyber terrorism. Jim is also on the editorial advisory board for IT Defense Magazine where he writes a monthly column for IT titled Cyber Sideline.
Through the years Jim has discovered numerous security vulnerabilities in products such as firewalls, PKI servers, online banking applications and PDA devices.
Paul McCown, chief financial officer and chief operating officer, brings more than 19 years of experience in financial planning and management, investor relations, operations, mergers and acquisitions and public company credentials. Paul’s deep knowledge of the high-tech industry brings tremendous value to TraceSecurity’s strategic and financial planning, as well as operations.
Paul previously served as Senior Vice President of Enabling Technologies at Equifax, where he led a $160 million business unit. Prior to that, he was president and chief financial officer of APPRO Systems where he expanded the company’s revenue from $11 million with a $7 million loss in 2001 to $27 million in revenue and $8 million in profit in 2005.
Paul received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi.
As Senior Vice President of Communications and Training Services, Dariel LeBoeuf is responsible for forging strategic relationships. Previously Dariel ran all sales initiatives at TraceSecurity. He grew the sales and sales engineering team by 500% since joining TraceSecurity in October 2004. Under Dariel's guidance, customer acquisitions have doubled in that same timeframe.
Dariel specializes in enterprise account sales and sales management, both of which he mastered while at Tripwire. At Tripwire, Dariel worked as the Western Regional Sales Director, whereby he managed four regions. Prior to Tripwire, Dariel worked at Symantec Corp, where he acquired numerous awards and accolades, including the 1998 Large Account Representative of the Year and the Achiever's Trip Award in 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998. Also in 1995, Dariel was ranked the number one representative worldwide, exceeding his quota by 230%.
Dariel began his career at Fifth Generation. While at Fifth Generation, Dariel managed sales to Fortune 1000 accounts in 13 states and received the top salesman award twice.
Dariel graduated from Louisiana State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Business Analysis.
As Director of Systems Engineering, Brady Justice is responsible for leading the sales engineering team, supporting the sales team, and ensuring clients receive outstanding service. Brady plays a key role in the management team; since his time joining TraceSecurity Brady has continually exceeded milestones. Brady has over seven years in the high-technology field.
Prior to TraceSecurity, Brady was a senior security engineer for Garrison Technologies. Prior to Garrison, Brady worked as an independent consultant in the high-technology field maintaining and running several networks including large telco's IRC servers. He also provided security expertise on IDS and firewalls and other security technologies, and system administrator expertise for several webhosting and shell-providing companies.
