CEO Peter Stewart Is Recognized For Growing TraceSecurity’s Customer Base to Nearly 600 Customers and Increasing Revenues by 140% Annually Since 2003

BATON ROUGE, La. (May 15, 2007) – TraceSecurity, a leading provider of on-demand security compliance management solutions, announced today that CEO Peter Stewart was named a finalist in the Best Executive for Computer Hardware or Services category by the 2007 American Business Awards, also commonly referred to as the Stevie® Awards. Hailed as, “the business world’s own Oscars,” by the New York Times, the American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business. More than 2,000 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration. Stewart is among four other executives selected as a finalist.

Peter Stewart has more than 18 years of security technology and business management experience. Under Stewart’s leadership, TraceSecurity has grown its customer base to nearly 600 clients worldwide representing over $200 billion in assets. Prior to TraceSecurity, he served as President and CEO of Blaze Technologies, a security vulnerability management company that was merged with Patchportal Inc. to form TraceSecurity. Prior to Blaze Technologies, Stewart served as Executive Vice-President and General Manager of McAfee, one of the largest security software companies in the world, playing a vital role in growing the company from $39 million to over $900 million in revenue and market capitalization from $200 million to over $6 billion.

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners this week from among the finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through early May.
