Baton Rouge, Louisiana — September 10, 2010
TraceSecurity will again host their popular after-hours networking event, “I Hung with TraceSecurity”, during the 2010 Symitar Annual Conference in Las Vegas. The event will also feature the 3rd Annual SMUG Awards, an entertaining awards ceremony honoring the lighter side of the financial services industry.
“After the success of our past 4 "I Hung With TraceSecurity" events, we knew we had to pull out all the stops,” commented TraceSecurity’s CTO and co-founder, Jim Stickley. “This year, attendees are going to be treated to free food and an open bar while they hang out with our special guest - the one and only Richard Simmons!”
Previous "I Hung With TraceSecurity" events have featured a variety of acts including the Village People, Gilbert Gottfried, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and William Hung of American Idol fame.
Jim Stickley will also be a featured speaker on Thursday during the Symitar Conference. In his eye-opening presentation, "Hacking Your Credit Union from the Inside Out!", Stickley will explain why credit unions are exposed to a high level of risk from internal security breaches and what can be done to avoid them. Plus, he will be demonstrating a brand new type of exploit that directly impacts all financial institutions.
